Who Is My Neighbor by Steve Moore is a book based on the Bible story in the book of Luke about the good Samaritan. This book greatly influenced a message I recently gave at my church. It comes with access to a corresponding website that includes helpful videos and even an online assessment tool that will help you discover your passion and give you direction in how to get involved in serving others and making the world a better place by developing relationships with people who are not like you.
This book is a great read for those wrestling with how to respond to the needs of the global neighborhood we share. What I enjoyed about this book is how the author takes the fire hydrant of information about the needs of others and turns it into a manageable stream leading to compassionate action.
